Sunday Morning Worship:

Between September and May (not including Labor Day weekend or Memorial Day weekend), Sunday morning services begin at 8:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

During the summer months (beginning Memorial Day weekend and continuing through Labor Day weekend), we have one service on Sunday mornings.  It begins at 10:00 a.m.

All are welcome in the name of Jesus Christ.

Infant and toddler nurseries are provided in the Fellowship and Christian Education buildings during both morning services.

Sunday school classes for youth and adults begin at 10:00 o'clock.

Access for the handicapped is through the rear door to the sanctuary building.  For directions to the church and tips on finding a parking place, see How to Find Us.

The Ministry of Music at First (Scots)

Mission Statement:  The Ministry of Music at First (Scots) supports the broader mission and vision of the congregation, but it focuses on particular ways to express that vision through emphasizing music as a gift of God and as a means of worship, education, mission, and fellowship.  Click here for the full mission statement.

The John Phillips Harpsichord:  In the spring of 2002, First (Scots) dedicated an extraordinary new harpsichord to the glory of God.  The harpsichord contributes immensely not only to the church's music program, but also to the richness and variety of music available to the Charleston community.  See pictures of its construction and read about it by clicking here.
